Renting through Surf Neutral is free. You pay the host directly.

Renting through Surf Neutral is free for surfers and hosts. Surf Neutral shows which boards are for rent and passes on requests; we don't take payments and charge no fees.

The price you see is the host's own day price. Surfer and host agree on how and when to pay, and on any deposit, directly with each other.

Surf Neutral used to take card payments through Mangopay, with a wallet and pay-outs to hosts. That service has stopped. If renting on Surf Neutral grows, we may add online payment again; this page will say so.
