Board of the week! #36

Welcome to Surf Neutral - Board of the Week 36, including some survey findings

Let's kick off right away with some great news for Shapers on Surf Neutral! In our recent survey answered by 112 people, we asked surfers and shapers about their thoughts on QR codes on surfboards, and here is what we found:

Surfer Feedback: An overwhelming 93.8% of surfers expressed keen interest in having a QR code on their surfboard (No kidding).

This week, we are thrilled to showcase the Retro Keel Fin Fish, a board crafted by Robin Fletcher Evans, a talented shaper who has been shaping surfboards since 1995.

Introducing the Retro Keel Fin Fish, a board model that combines timeless style with exceptional performance. This board features a flat deck down rail, an old-school fish outline with a distinctive beak, and a flat entry complemented by a double concave through 3/4 of the board. Specifically designed for shoulder and down wave sizes, it delivers an effortless and enjoyable ride.

Crafted with top-quality materials, including PU technology, the Retro Keel Fin Fish boasts a 5'5" x 20 5/8" x 2 1/4" size, a fishtail for added manoeuvrability, a twin fin setup, and a glass-on fin system. The board's glassing consists of 6+6oz top / 6oz bottom Fiber Glass, while its design is elevated by a stunning single-color resin tint.
