2+1 Fin2024 marks 50 years since Master Shaper Ben Aipa released The Sting.
As a tribute to his legacy and that of his family, it seemed right to celebrate the 50th anniversary.
Ben Aipa has passed down his shaping knowledge and skills, inspiring budding shapers of today. One of his pupils Matt Kinoshita, daily passes on the Aipa techniques and methods. These methods I also use in shaping my boards.
Mahalo to the craftsman and women that paved the way before us. 🙏
